# Company customers (/en/businesses/customers/company-customers)

A company customer is a business you invoice: a firm with a weekly slot for its staff, a school that books a hall, a club that buys a block of studio hours. Staff book for the company and send it the invoice. A company customer can't hold a membership or a session card. Those always belong to a person's own Thril account. Company customers are shared by every venue of your company, on the **Company customers** tab of **Customers**.

## Book and invoice for businesses [#book-and-invoice-for-businesses]

**A weekly staff slot.** A firm books the hall for staff floorball every Thursday evening. Attach the company customer to a [recurring reservation](/businesses/reservations/recurring-reservations) and invoice the season in one go.

**A school's term in the hall.** **Create reservation** on the company customer books single times or a series for it. The bookings and the invoices collect on the company customer's record.

**E-invoices for larger organisations.** Enter the company's Finvoice details. Its [invoices](/businesses/invoices) carry them when you export the invoices as Finvoice XML for your e-invoicing operator or send them through [Netvisor](/businesses/integrations/netvisor).

**A wellness offer for businesses.** Email every company customer next season's staff yoga or gym package through a **Company customers** [customer list](/businesses/marketing/customer-lists).

---

## Adding a company customer [#adding-a-company-customer]

**Create company customer** needs only a name. Add an email address if Thril should send invoices to the company directly. **Preferred language** sets the language of the company's emails and invoices. E-invoices need the **E-invoicing details (Finvoice)**.

### Importing company customers [#importing-company-customers]

**Import company customers** brings businesses over from a previous invoicing system. The file is a CSV, and **Download sample CSV** shows the columns. A name is the only required column, and you check every row in a preview before anything is saved.

Import individual customers with [Importing customers](/businesses/customers/import).

## Email to company customers [#email-to-company-customers]

A company customer gets your [emails](/businesses/marketing/emails) differently from a person:

- **Receives marketing email** is on by default. A company customer gets marketing email until it unsubscribes or you untick it.
- Turning off **Receives announcement and marketing emails** stops every email you send from **Emails**, as it does for a person.
- An email goes to the company's email and its contact person's email, or once if they are the same.

To email your company customers, send to a customer list of the **Company customers** kind. Invoice workflows such as **Overdue invoice reminders** also reach company customers.
