# Partner venues and authorizations (/en/businesses/getting-started/partner-venues)

Venues often work together. A badminton club trains on a sports hall's courts every week. A yoga teacher runs private sessions at a studio. Two venues let each other's members join their members-only classes. An **authorization** gives the other venue exactly the access the partnership needs. Each side keeps its own staff accounts and settings.

You manage authorizations under **Settings** → **Authorizations**. **Issued** lists the ones you have given, and **Received** the ones other venues have given you.

## What each authorization opens [#what-each-authorization-opens]

The venue that issues an authorization is always the one opening up its own calendar, listings or memberships.

| Have your members recognised at another venue | You, to that venue | **View memberships** | Treats your members as members in its members-only events and member benefits |
| Have another venue's members recognised at yours | The other venue, to you | **View memberships** | You see its memberships and can use them like your own |

## Create reservations [#create-reservations]

The club books its practice times on your calendar from its own dashboard, without calling your front desk. You find these bookings in your reservation list with the **Created by authorized venue** filter.

The club pays the prices you agreed. Open the club from **Issued** and set them on its **Pricing** tab on a weekly timeline, as you would with your [pricing rules](/businesses/reservations/pricing). They replace your standard prices for the times you set, and your standard prices apply the rest of the week.

The club can also enter its own price on a single reservation. You see that price on the reservation and can change it.

---

## Link events [#link-events]

The organizer picks your venue in **Held at another venue** on an event, or in **Link to external venue** on a league, a tournament or a course. A club's tournament at your hall then shows on your venue's listings as well as the club's. Its participants, payments and messages stay with the organizer.

---

## Host services [#host-services]

The coach's company picks your venue as a host venue for its services. Customers then find those services, such as private lessons, at your venue and book them on your resources. The service, its price and its bookings stay the coach's. Switching the authorization off takes the services off your venue.

---

## View memberships [#view-memberships]

If you issue **View memberships** to venue B, your memberships count at B. When B makes a class members-only, it can pick your memberships among the ones that let customers in, and it can give your members the benefits it gives its own.

B sees the memberships and has no control over them. Selling, pausing, changing and cancelling stay with you, and B does not see the rest of your customer register.

## Changing and ending an authorization [#changing-and-ending-an-authorization]

Agree on an authorization with the other venue before you issue it. It gives access to your data until you switch it off.

Open the venue from **Issued** to change an authorization. **Authorization status** switches it between **Active** and **Inactive**. **Inactive** stops the access at once. The authorization stays, and you can switch it back on later.
