# Invoices in Netvisor (/en/businesses/integrations/netvisor/invoices)

An invoice you send from Thril to Netvisor becomes a sales invoice there. Netvisor gives it its number and reference, and delivers it to the customer. Thril keeps the invoice in its own list and reads its status and payments back from Netvisor. Set up the [Netvisor integration](/businesses/integrations/netvisor) first.

## Invoices for clubs and companies [#invoices-for-clubs-and-companies]

- **Straight from the booking.** Invoice a club's booking straight from the reservation, choose **Netvisor** as the **Invoicing system**, and send. Netvisor delivers it, as an e-invoice when the club has e-invoice details.
- **Invoices that show the customer's own reference.** Fill in **Your reference** with the customer's purchase order number or the person who ordered. It goes out as _Viitteenne_.
- **Pro Shop goods on the invoice.** Add a shop product as a line, and its revenue goes to the product's own account and cost objects. See [Ledger accounts and cost objects](/businesses/integrations/netvisor/bookkeeping#ledger-accounts-and-cost-objects).

---

## Sending invoices [#sending-invoices]

Send one invoice with **Send to Netvisor** in its **Actions** menu, or select several in the invoice list and send them together. Netvisor gives the invoice its own number and reference. If the customer already has a PDF with the Thril number, tell them about the new one. Netvisor decides how and when the invoice reaches the customer.

An unsent invoice moves between systems with **Change invoicing system**. Moving it to Netvisor asks for a product and a domestic VAT rate on every line.

## Netvisor customers and their details [#netvisor-customers-and-their-details]

The first invoice to a customer creates them in Netvisor and marks them a **Netvisor customer** in Thril. After that, a change to their name, email, phone number or billing address in Thril goes to Netvisor too.

- **Individual customers** need a full billing address.
- **Company customers** need a VAT identifier in a format Netvisor accepts, such as `FI12345678`. For e-invoices, also fill in the operator code and the e-invoice address.

---

## Payments, edits and credit notes [#payments-edits-and-credit-notes]

- **Payments.** A payment taken at the till or entered by hand before the invoice is sent goes to Netvisor with the invoice. For an invoice already in Netvisor, record the payment from the invoice's **Netvisor** actions, as Epassi, cash or card.
- **Edit in Netvisor** changes the invoice in Netvisor while Netvisor still has it as unsent. After that, change it in Netvisor.
- **Create credit note** credits the whole invoice, and the credit note goes to Netvisor too. **Match credit note in Netvisor** links the two there.
- **Delete from Netvisor** removes an unsent invoice from both Netvisor and Thril.

## Older invoices [#older-invoices]

To bring invoices made in Thril before you connected into Netvisor, use **Download as Finvoice XML** in the invoice list's export menu, and import the file in Netvisor under **Company menu** → **Data import**. The file holds the invoices on the Thril invoicing system. Open the VAT periods in Netvisor first. Invoices imported from a file are followed in Netvisor. To follow an invoice in Thril too, send it with **Send to Netvisor**.
