# Playbooks (/en/businesses/playbooks)

The feature pages explain what each part of Thril does. A playbook starts from what you want to achieve and puts the parts together: which features to combine, how to set each one up for that goal, and where in [Statistics](/businesses/statistics) to see whether it worked.

New to Thril? Set the venue up with [Getting started](/businesses/getting-started), then follow [Switch to Thril](/businesses/playbooks/switch-to-thril) for the order to bring in products, customers and bookings, even with no old system to leave. After that, pick the goal where you lose the most money today. For a court or simulator venue that is usually empty weekday mornings. For a yoga studio it is often class spots taken by people who never come.

## Measuring a playbook [#measuring-a-playbook]

Each playbook ends with the statistics that show whether it worked, such as **Utilisation rate by hour of day** for off-peak hours or the **No-show rate** for classes. Write those figures down before you change anything, and read them again a month later.

Change one thing at a time. If you lower prices, add alerts and send a campaign in the same week, you won't know which one worked.
