# Getting into the venue (/en/consumers/getting-in)

If the venue lets you in with Thril, your door code or an **Open door** button is on your booking. Open the booking under **My activities** before you go. Members can also have a code or an access card of their own. If the booking shows neither, the venue lets you in its own way, and its instructions are on the booking.

## Your booking's code or door button [#your-bookings-code-or-door-button]

The booking's **Access codes** or **Entry** section shows the door code or an **Open door** button, and the times they work, in the venue's time zone.

**Open door** works only during the access times. Thril also emails you the arrival instructions with the code. The code is always on the booking. You can turn that email off under **Door codes and arrival instructions** in your notification settings.

## Opening the door with your location [#opening-the-door-with-your-location]

Some venues open the door only for customers who are nearby. When you press **Open door**, Thril checks your location once. It doesn't track you.

A computer's location is usually too approximate. Use the Thril app on your phone. If your location doesn't work, the venue's staff can let you in.

## Members' own access [#members-own-access]

A membership with door access shows its code or **Open door** button in your **Wallet**. In the app, the **Profile** tab also shows them under **Memberships / Access codes**. Some venues give members an access card or tag instead.

If a membership fee is unpaid, the venue can block your door access until you [pay it](/consumers/payment-due).

## If the door doesn't open [#if-the-door-doesnt-open]

Only the venue can fix its codes and doors. Check the booking first, because the venue can change the details there. Then contact the venue. Its contact details are on the booking.
