Company and venue details
Company settings hold your legal details for receipts and invoices. Each venue has its own status, type, sports and staff notifications, and the company sets the dashboard sidebar.
Thril keeps details on two levels. The company is the business that signs the contract with Thril, gets paid through Stripe and sends invoices. A venue is a place customers book at, or for a club, the club itself. One company can run several venues, like a chain under one brand, and each venue has its own status, sports, contact details and notifications.
Company details
Under Settings → Company details, Company name is your legal name and Company display name is the name customers see on Thril.
The address goes on your receipts and invoices. Invoices also show the email and the phone number. You can leave the phone number out with Include phone number in invoices under Settings → Invoicing. Company logo shows on your invoices. Company cover image shows on your company page, which lists your venues when you have more than one. The image sizes are on Your venue page.
Company page address is the link to your company page, such as app.thril.fi/companies/pego. Thril makes it from your display name. Copy it from the field to share your company page on your website or social media.
To change the company's country, its company admin or its company page address, contact support@thril.fi.
Venue status
Settings → Venue details holds the opening hours, address and contact details customers see on your venue page, and the Venue status: Active or Inactive.
| Status | What customers see | What happens to bookings |
|---|---|---|
| Active | The venue in search, on the map and by its link | Customers book and pay |
| Inactive | Nothing, not even the venue page by its direct link | New bookings stop. Existing ones stay |
A venue that closes for the summer switches to Inactive for the break and back to Active when it reopens. The first time, a venue goes live from the Training Camp after Stripe verification and a plan. Read more in Going live.
Thril can also unlist a venue. An unlisted venue works and opens by its link, but it stays out of search, the map and Explore. Contact support@thril.fi to unlist yours.
Venue type
Venue type tells Thril what kind of business the venue is, and it changes how customers find it.
| Type | For | What customers see |
|---|---|---|
| Sports venue | Places with courts, simulators, rooms, a gym or a studio | How far away the venue is, and a button to book |
| Club or association | Clubs that run events and memberships, often at other venues | The club among the clubs in Explore, with a card that leads to the club |
A new club starts with court booking off, and its dashboard opens on events. Changing the type later leaves your resources, events and products as they are.
Sports
Sports on your resources count automatically. Associated sport types adds the sports you offer without a resource of their own, such as yoga classes at a padel venue. Customers filter search by sport. List every sport you offer, or the customers who filter by it won't find you.
Sport order sets the order customers see your sports in, such as on your venue card. Your resources follow the same order.
Notifications for your staff
Under Settings → Notifications you list email addresses and choose what reaches them:
- Notify about new customers when someone joins your customer register on their own.
- Notify about new reservations when a customer books a resource themselves.
- Notify about new chat messages when new chat messages arrive.
The settings are per venue. With a shared inbox, someone sees the emails even when one person is away.
Sidebar navigation
Settings → Navigation sets the dashboard sidebar for everyone in the company. You can reorder the items in each section and hide the ones you don't use. Hiding an item only tidies the sidebar. Roles decide who can open what.
Phone tabs sets the tabs at the bottom of the dashboard on a phone. Everyone starts with the tabs you pick here, and each person can change their own.
Getting started with Thril

Your venue page
The venue page is where customers decide to book you in the Thril app and on the web. Bios, cover and profile images with sizes and the safe zone, venue photos, busy hours, social media, keywords and tabs shape it.
