Where a session card works

A session card pays for the reservations, service bookings, events or course enrollments you choose, limited by sport, resource, time, event category or picked items.

Under Applicable to in the card's basic details, tick any combination of Reservations, Service bookings, Events and Course enrollments. The Restrictions step then narrows each one. A scope without restrictions covers everything in it.

Narrow restrictions make a card for one job. A weekday morning card fills quiet hours, and a single-sport card gets customers to try a new activity.

Reservations

Limit a reservation card by sport, resource, day of the week, booking duration, time of day, date range, reservation type (normal, open or both) and a minimum number of paying participants besides the booker.

Service bookings

Limit a service booking card by service, duration, day of the week, time of day and date range. The whole booking falls inside the chosen time.

Events

Pick All events, Events that match rules or Only events I pick.

A rule combines restrictions such as the kind of event, event category, sport, price range, duration, day, time of day, date range, and picked events, series or tournaments. An event matches a rule when it matches everything in it, and it is covered when it matches any one rule. A card for "group classes under €20 on weekdays" is one rule. So is a card for 60-minute classes only. Its Duration ranges restriction has 60 minutes as both the Minimum duration and the Maximum duration.

On a card available in all venues, picked events, series, tournaments and categories can come from any venue in your company.

Course enrollments

With Course enrollments ticked, customers pay a course's enrollment fee with sessions from the card, in part or in full. Pick All courses, Courses that match rules or Only courses I pick. A course rule picks by sport or by course, and you can also pick single groups. The course group's Sessions deducted from a session card sets how many sessions an enrollment uses.

Exclusions

An exclusion uses the same restrictions as a rule and always wins over the rules. "All events except the Club Championship" is one exclusion. Exclusions work for events and courses alike.

Matching events and Matching courses at the end of the restrictions list the venue's upcoming items the card covers, and why the others are left out. The summary above them is the sentence customers read on the card.

Changes reach cards already sold

Customers' cards follow the card's current restrictions. A change applies to every card already sold, straight away. See Managing customers' session cards.
