Stripe payouts
Stripe pays your customers' card and wallet payments out to your bank. Each payout shows Thril's commission and refunds, and its payout report matches your bank statement.
Customers pay you through Stripe: online card and wallet payments, and card payments on your POS terminals. Stripe holds the money in your company's Stripe account and pays it out to your bank. The Stripe page in the settings lists every payout with what went into it, and gets you the report that matches it to your bank statement. A company with several venues gets one payout, and the report for the current venue shows that venue's part.
Epassi payments, invoices paid by bank transfer and cash reach you their own way. Setting up the Stripe account is part of getting started. See Stripe verification.
When money arrives
Each payout shows its Arrival date. The figures and the report come once Stripe has reconciled the payout, which can be after the money has arrived.
What a payout deducts
A payout is your customers' payments minus these:
- Thril's commission on each payment, shown on each payout as Thril commission.
- Refunds since the last payout.
- A Thril subscription payment taken from your Stripe balance.
The payout includes the full price your customer paid, VAT included, and you report and pay that VAT through your own books. The VAT report gives you the figures.
The refund fee in Finland comes off what the customer gets back, not off your payout.
Matching a payout to your bank
The Stripe payout report lists exactly the transactions Stripe put into one payout, and its total matches your bank statement. It breaks the payout down by type of payment and by VAT rate. POS card terminal payments are in the same payout and report. Hand it to your accountant for the month-end bank reconciliation.
Request it from the payout's row with Generate Stripe payout report, for the whole company or the current venue. The report comes by email for automatic payouts that Stripe has reconciled.
Payments export and payouts
The payments export picks payments by the day they succeeded, and a payout collects them on Stripe's schedule. Use the payout report for your bank account.
Warnings at the top of the dashboard
Stripe keeps checking the company behind the account. When it needs something, a banner shows in the dashboard:

| Stripe account restricted | The deadline passed. You cannot take reservations until the requirements are complete. |
| Stripe account disabled | Stripe has shut the account. Complete requirements opens Stripe's form. You cannot use Thril until Stripe reactivates the account. |
| Your Thril subscription payment is late | Your plan's payment failed. Update payment changes the card before the subscription lapses. |
Your subscription and the Stripe dashboard
Manage my subscription opens Stripe's billing page for your Thril plan: the card it is charged to, your billing details and past invoices.
Open Stripe dashboard takes you to Stripe's own dashboard for your account, where you manage payouts and change the bank account they go to.
