Booking for your child

Children on your Thril account join classes, courses and events and get memberships and session cards in their own name, paid and managed by you, until they move to an account of their own.

Add your child under Children in your settings. You can then sign them up for classes, courses and events, and buy memberships and session cards in their name. You pay for and manage everything. Your child doesn't need an account or an email address of their own.

Adding a child

  1. On the web, open My Thril and choose Children. In the app, open the Profile tab, choose Settings and then Children.
  2. Choose Add child.
  3. Enter their first name, last name and date of birth, and choose Add child.

A child on your account must be under 18. By adding a child, you accept Thril's terms and privacy policy on their behalf.

Signing your child up

On a class, course or event, choose your child under Who is this for?, then join and pay as usual. In a venue's shop, choose the child before you buy a membership or a session card. What you've bought for your child is marked with their name.

The venue decides who can join. Some venues don't take children's sign-ups at all. An activity can also be for children only, or for adults only, and Thril tells you which one to pick before you can sign up.

Reservations for a court, a simulator or a room are always in your own name.

Moving your child to their own account

When your child is ready to manage their own bookings, choose Move to own account next to their name and enter their email address.

  • They sign in with that address, and you can no longer book or manage anything for them.
  • Their memberships, session cards, bookings and history move with them.
  • Their next membership payment is no longer charged to your card. They add their own payment method and pay it themselves.

Check the address carefully. The move can't be undone.

Removing a child

Remove deletes the child and their history from your account for good. You can remove a child once they have no upcoming class, event or course, no membership and no unfinished payment. The same applies when you delete your own account, because your children are deleted with it.
