Blocked from booking

Why Thril stops you from booking or joining at a venue, such as a restriction the venue set, an unpaid membership fee, unpaid classes or a booking limit, and how to get it lifted.

When Thril stops you from booking, the message tells you why. Most of the time the venue has restricted your account, or a payment is open. A block for an open payment lifts as soon as you pay. Only the venue can lift a restriction it set on your account.

The venue restricted your account

A venue can stop you from making reservations, from joining events, leagues and tournaments, or both, until a date it chooses. You get an email and a notification saying what is restricted and until when. Some venues do this automatically when you miss classes you booked. The message then says how many you missed.

The venue can also cancel the classes and events you've already booked there. The message says how many, and whether you get the money back.

If you think the restriction is a mistake, contact the venue.

A membership fee is unpaid

An unpaid membership fee blocks your reservations and door access at that venue, and at some venues your classes and events too. An unpaid fee for your child's membership blocks you too, because you pay for your children. Pay the fee on the membership in your Wallet, or pay the invoice if the venue has sent you one. Managing your membership explains what else an unpaid fee blocks.

Classes or events are unpaid

A venue can stop you from booking or joining anything at that venue and at the other venues of its chain once you have too many past classes or events unpaid. Pay them to book again.

A charge for a shared booking or open reservation failed

If Thril could not charge your card for a shared booking or your share of an open reservation, you cannot make reservations or join events at any venue until you pay it.

A limit stops the booking

  • Your membership has booking limits, and you have reached one.
  • The venue caps how many upcoming reservations one person can have. Book again once one has passed or you cancel one.
  • The time is for members only.
  • The resource must be booked a set time in advance.
  • You have a booking still in checkout. Choose Continue reservation and pay, or Cancel.
