Sign-in problems

What to do when Thril's login email doesn't arrive, the login link opens in the wrong place or has expired, or you end up with two accounts.

Most sign-in problems come from the login email: it went to spam, you opened the link on another device, or the link is from an older email. The 6-digit code in the same email gets you in on the device where you started.

The email doesn't arrive

  • Look in your spam folder. The email can take a few minutes.
  • Check the address. On the web, choose Change email if you typed it wrong.
  • Ask for a new email. Choose Having trouble logging in? and then Resend email on the web, or Resend email link in the app. On the web, you can ask again after a short wait. Use the newest email.
  • Use a permanent address. Thril doesn't accept temporary, disposable email addresses.

The login link only works in the browser and on the device where you asked for it. If you open it anywhere else, Thril shows "Open the link where you started" on the web or "Open the link on the device you started on" in the app.

Open the email on the device where you started, or type in the code:

  1. On the device where you started, choose Having trouble logging in? and then Enter code manually.
  2. Type the 6-digit code from the email. It's below the login button.

In the app, Log in on this phone starts over on the phone you're holding.

  • The link has expired, or it's from an older email. Thril starts the sign-in again. Ask for a new email and use the newest one.
  • The code has expired. On the web, choose Send a new code and type the new one. In the app, start the sign-in again.
  • Too many incorrect attempts. On the web, enter your email address again to get a new login link. In the app, wait a while and start the sign-in again.

You have two accounts

Thril finds your account by its email address. When you choose Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, Thril uses the address of that Apple or Google account. If it isn't the address you sign in with by email, you get a second, empty account.

This happens most often with Apple's Hide My Email, which gives Thril a random address instead of your own.

  1. Sign in to the account that has your bookings, the same way as before.
  2. Delete the empty account.
  3. If you want to sign in with Apple or Google from now on, first change your email address to the one on your Apple or Google account.
