Sell more at the front desk
Thril POS with shortcuts and barcodes, unpaid bookings, credit top-ups with bonus credits, gift cards, rentals and booking extras, stock tracking and benefit payments turn the front desk into a sales point.
Everyone who comes to your venue passes the desk at least twice. Some pay for a booking or a class, many would buy a drink or a protein bar, and a few would top up a year of credits if someone asked.
Thril POS is a paid add-on. Ask support@thril.fi to turn it on for your company.
Bestsellers one tap away
Pin the shop products staff sell all day, such as water, a towel and a racket rental, to the POS shortcuts. Give drinks and snacks their barcode, and a scanner adds them to the sale.
Unpaid bookings
Unpaid activities in the POS lists the reservations and service bookings nobody has paid yet, and the open invoices. A customer who booked by phone pays as they walk in. Add a drink to the same sale while the card is out.
A named customer on every sale
When staff add the customer to a sale, the customer can pay with their credits and session cards, their member benefits apply, the receipt goes to their email and the purchase shows in their history. A membership, session card or top-up sold at the desk goes to that customer's wallet. Make naming the customer a habit.
Prepaid value
Prepaid value brings money in before the customer comes, and a customer with a balance at your venue comes back to spend it.
| Product | Setup that sells |
|---|---|
| Credit top-up | Fixed packs with a bonus that grows: €50 for 55 credits, €100 for 120 credits |
| Gift card | A fixed value above its price, such as €110 on the card for €100, for December |
| Session card | A ten-session card priced below ten single visits |
| Membership | The membership with a trial or intro price, signed up face to face |
A top-up is a good answer to "can I pay for my friends too?". The bonus is a discount spent with you.
Extras with every booking
Rentals and booking extras are offered while customers book in the app and on the web. The sale happens before they reach the desk. A racket rental on padel bookings, a towel on studio bookings and a sauna turn after a simulator session all work this way. A rental's stock is the number of items you own, such as rackets.
Staff can add any extra to a booking. The POS sells rental items, and extras for event and tournament participants.
Stock
Turn on Track stock on what you sell from a shelf. Low stock threshold flags a product before it runs out. A monthly stock count and the waste you record in Inventory and orders show what disappeared.
Employee benefits
Many customers pay with an employer's sports benefit. Add the provider's terminal or app as a custom payment method and mark it as an Employee benefit payment method. Staff check at the till that the benefit covers the purchase. See Employee benefits.
